The new version of Advanced Submitter
is more complete than ever!
In this little survey we will talk about
its main new features and how you can get full advantage of them.
AutoConfirmer
One of the most wanted add-ons was an
email auto-confirmer. Advanced Submitter comes with a fully functional
auto-confirmer.
Auto-confirmer download messages from a
user-specific email account, search and discover possible confirmation
links and then allows the user to easily click on them or it automatically
visits all of them. The auto-confirmer uses an internal browser to
actually visit all pages.
The user can create custom rules to
exclude discovered links that are not relative with the confirmation
process. Also, he can read the downloaded messages to ensure that
everything is ok. Overall, the tool is flexible, user definable, friendly
and a great time saver.

Integrated Statistics
Another great improvement is the
integrated statistics module. This tool, when turned on, inserts a small
tag in every created gallery that collects statistics for each submission.
Then, from inside the program you can view how your submission did, how
many hits you received and from which sites the visitors came. The program
offers bar, pie and line graphs, as well 3D views.

AutoSubmission Log
Another wanted improvement
was the autosubmission log. The new Advanced Submitter monitors
autosubmissions saving all confirmation pages while at the same time it
tries to determine which submissions failed. You can later easily visit
the submission results for every site and re-submit for the problematic
sites. Problematic submissions are marked gray so you will be able to
distinguish them with a glance.

Clean Autosubmissions
Note: I would like to
make clean, for once more, that this tool should not be treated as an
autosubmitter. Don't use it to spam TGP/MGP sites with too many
galleries. Read their rules and follow them. Autosubmittion is offered as
a time-saver feature and should be treated wisely.
Many users reported several
"obstacles" when trying to autosubmit. These problems were
mainly due to incorrect javascript syntax, messy pop-up windows,
new-window redirects and so-on.
The new Advanced Submitter offers
a 'holistic' solution to this problem. This solution allows you to disable
scripts, java and activex, to redirect forms to the initial window, to
block extra pop-ups and also disable images to decrease submission time.
You can define your desired browsing behavior from the settings tab.

Easy creation of site-specific rules
A problematic area was that of adding
site-specific rules. The process was cumbersome and error-prone. Now, when
you edit site-specific rules (from the pageSubmitter page and assuming
that you have downloaded the submission page) the program turns database
boxes to combo boxes, it fills them with possible values taken from the
submission page, and allow you to create custom rules using a few mouse
clicks!
Automatic niche preview
Another improvement, that some of you
will find important, is the automatic niche creator. This works as
follows: when a submission page has been loaded then by right-clicking on
the site area you can select to update niche categories. The program will
find the appropriate category drop-down box, scan all categories and
update the internal database. This can be set to auto, so whenever a
submission page is loaded the category list is automatically scanned.
Now, assuming that you have put some
categories on the PageCreator tab then you can select the "Create
Niche Command". This will mark gray all sites for which the program
cannot fill a category box, based on the categories on the pageCreator
tab.
Multiple Active Submission Types
Submission types are a handy general tool
to categorize sites using several characteristics. However, there are
times when a created gallery can fit more than one submission types. Using
the previous version of Advanced Submitter the only solution was to
create galleries and submit separately for each submission type. Now, you
can select up to three submission types and work with them as if they were
one.

More ... The
new Advanced Submitter offers many more smaller improvements. It
comes with a better database where sites are organized based on niches. It
also solves several issues with auto-form filler. One important issue was
the incorrect handling of hidden variables that prevents correct
submissions using some TGP scripts.
There are also improvements on the database front-end, many new options on
the settings tab that allow you to better customize the program and better
handling of the page creation process. Actually, there are too many new
things to mention everything here, so play with the program! ...
Hopefully new bugs are kept to a minimum ...
